Adecade ago, New Zealanders Jean and Simon Burch came to Newfoundland on a holiday and stayed.

In winter, the area is perfect for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and dogsledding, while Marble Mountain attracts downhill skiers and provides a year-round zip line. At the end of the day, visitors can luxuriate under the stars in a hot tub or the resort’s soothing spa.
